Haryana police intensify probe and arrest suspect after firing outside Elvish Yadav’s home in Gurugram.
The investigation into the firing outside YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav’s residence in Gurugram has taken a significant turn. Haryana police apprehended Ishant alias Ishu Gandhi, a prime suspect, after a dramatic armed encounter in Faridabad. During the shootout, the accused was injured with a gunshot wound to his leg and is currently hospitalized under police custody.
The incident occurred early last Sunday morning when three masked men on a motorbike fired 15 to 30 rounds indiscriminately outside Yadav’s house in Sector 56, Gurugram. Fortunately, Elvish was not home at the time, and no one was injured. CCTV footage identified three individuals involved, with two clearly visible. Yadav’s father confirmed the family was inside during the firing and expressed confidence in the police investigation.
Following the incident, the Himanshu Bhau gang claimed responsibility, accusing Yadav of promoting betting apps that allegedly harm families. Police have increased security around Yadav’s residence and continue probing possible links to organized crime.
