Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh delighted millions of fans on Diwali by revealing the face of their daughter, Dua, for the first time. The couple shared heartwarming family photos on Instagram, making it one of the most viral celebrity Diwali moments of the year.
In the pictures, Ranveer and Deepika are seen posing with their adorable baby girl, who looks angelic in a maroon outfit, matching her mother’s attire. Ranveer wore a classic beige kurta set with a Nehru jacket, while Deepika stunned in a maroon gown-style ethnic ensemble paired with statement jewellery. The couple captioned the post in Hindi:

Deepika and Ranveer welcomed Dua on September 8, 2024. Until now, they had kept her face private, only revealing her name on Diwali last year by writing:
“Dua – meaning a prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers.”
Last month, the couple celebrated Dua’s first birthday. Deepika shared a glimpse of a homemade cake she baked for her daughter, writing:
“My love language? Baking a cake for my daughter’s 1st birthday!”
Deepika on embracing motherhood
In an earlier interview, Deepika spoke about how motherhood has reshaped her life:
“I’ve always been a patient person, but motherhood pushes you beyond your comfort zone. I’ve never been social, but now I meet other parents, go to playschool… I always wanted to be a mother, and now I’m playing my best role.”
