Dhanashree Verma Breaks Silence on Divorce with Yuzvendra Chahal; Cricketer Responds Cryptically

Months after her divorce from Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, Dhanashree Verma has finally opened up about the separation. The couple, who married in December 2020, officially parted ways in March this year. In her first interview since the divorce, Dhanashree addressed accusations of faking her marriage and shared her emotions during the split. Her candid conversation quickly went viral on the internet, prompting a cryptic response from Chahal that many fans interpret as a reply to her interview.

Speaking to Humans of Bombay, Dhanashree emphasized the importance of privacy in personal matters. “There is a reason why we say ‘personal life’. It has to be private. And look, a coin has two sides. Taali ek haath se to bajti nahi (You can’t clap with one hand). Just because I am not speaking it doesn’t give anyone the power to take advantage of that. It is not correct. I think it should not happen with anybody,” she said, asserting her wish to keep the matter discreet.

She also hinted that although she has her version of the story and could share it someday, her current focus is on her career. “If you want to achieve great things, you don’t have to address it again and again. I do have a lot to speak about it, I have my side of my story, do I want to delve into that? No. Do I wish to delve into that? Maybe, in the future,” Dhanashree added.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Yuzvendra Chahal posted a series of photos from an outing, accompanied by a caption that caught fans’ attention: “Million feelings, zero words.” Many followers see this as an indirect response to Dhanashree’s recent remarks, reflecting the emotional undercurrent between the former couple.
