After a few sunny days, Hyderabad experienced overcast skies from Tuesday morning, which progressed to mild drizzle in the afternoon. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds ranging from 30 to 40 kmph across all five city zones: Charminar, Khairatabad, Kukatpally, L.B. Nagar, and Serilingampally. Similar weather patterns are expected to prevail for the next three days, though the impact of the rain is anticipated to be low.
Hyderabad is one of 25 Telangana districts forecasted to receive light to moderate rainfall as per the IMD’s district-level nowcast valid until 4 p.m. on Tuesday. Residents can expect generally cloudy conditions with mist or hazy mornings, accompanied by moderate rainfall and occasional gusty winds. Temperatures in the city are likely to remain comfortable, with expected maximums around 29°C and minimums near 22°C during this period.
