After unrest in Kanpur, Varanasi, Bareilly, and other districts, CM Yogi Adityanath said, “No one has the right to forget who is in power.”
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a tough stand on the incidents of unrest reported from Kanpur, Varanasi, Moradabad, Badaun, Maharajganj, Unnao, Sambhal, Agra, and Bareilly.
Directing strict action against those involved in the violence, CM Yogi made it clear that law and order in the state will not be allowed to be challenged under any circumstances.
Issuing a stern warning, Yogi Adityanath said, “No one in the state has the right to forget who is in power.” Referring to a cleric, he added that some people thought they could disrupt the system through threats, but the government had proved them wrong.
The Chief Minister also stressed that there would be no blockade and no curfew in the state, as the administration is fully in control of the situation and will deal with miscreants firmly.
He further remarked, “The lesson that has been taught today will ensure that future generations will think twice before attempting riots.”
Reiterating his government’s commitment, CM Yogi said that maintaining peace and law and order in Uttar Pradesh remains the state’s top priority, and any laxity in this matter will not be tolerated.
