A crew member working on Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s upcoming film, “Pati, Patni aur Woh 2,” was allegedly assaulted by some local residents in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The incident occurred on August 27 during the shooting on Thornhill Road. Police took swift action following the complaint from the film’s production team.
The production head of BR Chopra Films, Zoheb Solapurwala, was the person attacked by local residents. This attack prompted the line producer, Saurabh Tiwari, to file an official complaint with the Civil Lines Police Station the next day. Consequently, an FIR was registered to investigate the incident thoroughly.
Police have identified and arrested the main accused, Meraj Ali, in connection with the assault. Authorities continue their probe into the matter, ensuring the safety of the film crew and maintaining law and order during ongoing shoots in the region.
