Salman Khan says Dharmendra has been his biggest fitness inspiration during the Dabangg Tour in Qatar.
During the ongoing Dabangg Tour in Qatar, Bollywood star Salman Khan reflected on his decades-long fitness journey and credited veteran actor Dharmendra as his biggest inspiration — even before his own photo became a staple in gyms across India.
While speaking on stage, Salman said, “Mere aane se pehle ek hi shaks the, woh hain Dharam ji… He is my father, that’s the end. I love that man and I just hope that he will come back.”
His emotional remark was a tribute to the 89-year-old actor, who has been recovering from recent health complications.
The admiration between the two appears mutual. Not long ago, Dharmendra publicly referred to Salman Khan as his “third son,” highlighting their long-standing bond. Fans were reminded of this connection when an old Bigg Boss clip resurfaced, showing Dharmendra praising Salman warmly on stage.
Earlier this month, Salman was seen outside Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, where Dharmendra had been admitted for respiratory issues.
On November 12, the veteran actor was discharged and is now resting at home.
Sunny Deol’s team issued a statement saying,
“Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home… We kindly request the media and public to avoid speculation and respect his privacy. We appreciate everyone’s prayers and good wishes.”
The Dabangg Tour appearance and Salman’s heartfelt tribute have once again reminded fans of the deep emotional bond shared by two generations of Bollywood icons.
