Tanushree Dutta says no to Bigg Boss 19, reveals reason for rejecting the show despite hefty offer
Actress Tanushree Dutta has revealed that she has once again turned down an offer to join Bigg Boss 19. The actress said that she has been approached by the makers of the reality show every single year for the past 11 years, but she has never shown interest in being a part of it.
Speaking in an interview with Bollywood Thikana, Tanushree shared that she was offered a massive amount of ₹1.65 crore to enter the house this season. However, she explained that money doesn’t tempt her and that she has no interest in joining the show, which she described as “invasive” in nature.
The actress further mentioned that Bigg Boss officials have often reached out to her repeatedly with calls and requests, but she has always said no. According to her, living in the Bigg Boss house is not something she could handle as she doesn’t even live with her own family, so adjusting with strangers under constant cameras is out of the question.
Tanushree also pointed out that the format of the show doesn’t suit her personality. She said that she would never be comfortable sharing the same hall or even the same bed space with male contestants just for television. Meanwhile, as the drama in Bigg Boss 19 continues with recent evictions, Tanushree’s candid revelations have started a storm of reactions on social media.
