AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi at a massive rally in Katihar’s Balrampur constituency vows to defeat Amit Shah and Narendra Modi, accusing BJP of defaming Seemanchal residents.
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi launched a blistering attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah at a massive rally in Katihar’s Balrampur Assembly constituency, accusing the BJP leadership of maligning the people of Bihar’s Seemanchal region.
Addressing a packed PWD ground in Barsoi, Owaisi told the crowd they had the power to change politics: “We will defeat Amit Shah and Narendra Modi. Vote for us, and we will defeat the BJP and the RSS. We will defeat those who betrayed us. We will secure your rights and change everything from top to bottom.”
Striking back at Shah’s comments about alleged infiltrators in Seemanchal, Owaisi said the BJP was unfairly defaming local residents. “Whenever I come here, PM Modi and Amit Shah defame the people of Seemanchal and call them infiltrators. Everyone here is Indian; no one is Bangladeshi. Don’t be afraid of them,” he said, urging voters not to yield to fear.
Owaisi accused the BJP of using communal narratives to divide communities ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections and asked people to reject politics driven by intimidation. He framed the contest as a fight for dignity and rights rather than a mere power struggle.
Turning to local issues, Owaisi highlighted poor electricity supply and inadequate healthcare in the region. “Will you tolerate this? If not, then elect an MLA of your choice,” he told the crowd, pressing voters to demand development alongside political accountability.
Thousands gathered for the rally, with attendees streaming in from surrounding villages and towns from early morning. Owaisi shared the stage with AIMIM Bihar president Akhtarul Iman, spokesperson Adil Hasan, and other senior party leaders as he called for decisive voting to empower Seemanchal.
Earlier the same day, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had vowed tougher action against infiltrators at a workers’ meeting in Forbesganj, Araria, saying his party would “expel infiltrators one by one” if given a decisive mandate — a pledge that Owaisi used to underline his message against communal politics.
