Telangana: 87% Empanelled Hospitals Continue Aarogyasri Services Amid Strike

Telangana health department reports 87 percent of empanelled hospitals still offering Aarogyasri services, while arrangements made in government hospitals to support patients
The Telangana health department has said that 87 percent of empanelled hospitals are still providing Aarogyasri services, while 13 percent have stopped.
On Wednesday, Aarogyasri CEO Uday Kumar urged the hospitals that are on strike to start providing services again as soon as possible.
According to official data, an average of 844 surgeries per day have been performed under Aarogyasri in the past two weeks, with 799 surgeries carried out on Wednesday alone.
The health department also assured that government hospitals have made necessary arrangements to ensure patients do not face any problems during this time.
