Actor Parineeti Chopra and AAP MP Raghav Chadha are thrilled to announce they are expecting their first child together. The couple shared the happy news on social media on Monday, quickly receiving a flood of congratulatory messages from fans and peers in the film industry.
On their joint Instagram post, they shared a picture of a cute round cake decorated with “1 + 1 = 3” and tiny golden footprints. They also posted a video of themselves holding hands and walking in a lush garden. Their caption read, “Our little universe … on its way. Blessed beyond measure.”
Fans, including celebrities like Sonam Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Huma Qureshi, took to the comments to send their warm wishes. There had been earlier rumors about Parineeti’s pregnancy, which she has now officially confirmed.
A few months ago, Parineeti shared a heartfelt Independence Day post about spending quality time with Raghav, cherishing family love and healthy moments. “An afternoon at home, drenched in the colours of our country and family love,” she wrote.
Looking ahead, Parineeti will star in a Netflix show featuring Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jennifer Winget, and others. The couple recently appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show. They tied the knot in a private ceremony in Udaipur in September 2023, following their engagement in New Delhi earlier that May.
