Hyderabad civic authorities issue show-cause notice to Allu Arjun over alleged illegal extension on fourth floor of Allu Business Park in Jubilee Hills
Actor Allu Arjun is currently facing a legal issue with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) over alleged unauthorized construction at his commercial property, the Allu Business Park, located on Road No. 45, Jubilee Hills. The GHMC issued a show-cause notice after discovering that an extension on the fourth floor of the building was constructed without prior approval, deviating from the originally sanctioned plan that permitted two cellars, a ground floor, and four upper floors on a plot of approximately 1,226 square yards.
The Allu Business Park, established by Allu Arjun and his family two years ago, houses Geetha Arts, Allu Arts, and other company offices. Civic officials, led by Deputy Commissioner Sammaiah of Circle-18, initiated an inquiry and warned that the unauthorized structure could face demolition if the owners failed to justify the violation. So far, neither Allu Arjun nor his family has responded to the notice or the charges.
Despite the legal distractions, the actor remains focused on his flourishing film career. His recent release, “Pushpa 2: The Rule,” directed by Sukumar, has become a massive success, grossing Rs 1,800 crore globally. Allu Arjun is now busy with his upcoming project under director Atlee, a high-budget sci-fi film tentatively titled “AA22 X A6,” co-starring Deepika Padukone and produced by Sun Pictures.
This legal tussle highlights the growing scrutiny on building regulations in Hyderabad’s upscale areas like Jubilee Hills, where unauthorized constructions are increasingly being challenged to enforce urban planning norms. The outcome of this case could set precedents for handling similar violations by prominent figures in the city’s commercial and residential sectors.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun’s fans eagerly await updates on both his legal situation and his forthcoming film project, which is anticipated to be a major box office draw. The resolution of this dispute will be closely watched by the industry and civic authorities alike.
