Telangana CM A Revanth Reddy, BRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao, and INDI bloc Vice President candidate Justice Sudarshan Reddy featured together representing ongoing political discussions.
Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has expressed his willingness to meet BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) to seek support for the INDI bloc’s Vice President candidate, Justice Sudarshan Reddy, provided his party’s leadership agrees. In an informal media interaction, Revanth Reddy stated that he has no hesitation in approaching KCR for the greater good of the people and has sought support from all political parties in the Telugu States.
However, the Chief Minister expressed skepticism about whether KCR would be willing to meet him, noting that KCR mostly stays confined to his farmhouse and may not grant an appointment to meet face to face. Despite this, Revanth Reddy remains hopeful about engaging with the BRS leader for political consensus.
On the issue of BC (Backward Classes) reservations, Revanth Reddy mentioned that the state government is awaiting the Supreme Court’s decision. He pointed out that the related bills and ordinances are still pending with the President, adding that the Supreme Court has directed the President to take a decision within 90 days.
The Chief Minister’s remarks highlight ongoing political negotiations and issues related to social justice and representation in the Telugu States.
