Aarogyasri hospitals in Telangana resume full healthcare services after protests end with Health Minister’s intervention
Telangana Aarogyasri Hospitals Resume Services After Talks With Health Minister
The Telangana Aarogyasri Network Hospitals Association (TANHA) called off its protests and announced the immediate resumption of Aarogyasri healthcare services on Friday night. This decision came after successful discussions with Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha and senior health officials.
Talks were held at night with the Health Minister and top officials, including Aarogyasri Health Care Trust CEO P. Uday Kumar. TANHA members said the Health Minister assured them that both financial and non-financial issues would be resolved right away.
Based on these assurances and directions from the Health Minister, TANHA decided to restart all healthcare services under Aarogyasri, Employee Health Scheme (EHS), and Journalists Health Scheme (JHS) at network hospitals across Telangana.
TANHA members expressed regret to patients for any inconvenience caused by the protests and thanked the Minister for his intervention.
Healthcare services are now resuming in hospitals linked to the state’s Aarogyasri program, bringing relief to patients statewide.
