17-Year-Old Girl Allegedly Gang-Raped Near Delhi’s Kalkaji Temple; One Accused Held After Gunfire

A 17-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by three men near Delhi’s Kalkaji Temple after the accused reportedly posed as police officers, according to police officials. The incident allegedly took place at Aastha Kunj Park, located near the temple, where the teenager had gone for a walk with a friend.

The suspects allegedly threatened the two girls before sexually assaulting the minor.

According to the complaint, one of the accused restrained the girl’s friend while the other two allegedly assaulted the teenager. Delhi Police said one suspect was apprehended following a brief exchange of fire with officers.
